Introduction :
As competition for talents intensifies, HA counts on successful digitalization of human resources (HR) functions, like manpower attraction, development, retention, engagement. MyHR App proved pivotal for such transformation, providing mobile platform and driving momentum to address stakeholders’ needs.
Objectives :
Through digitalization, HA aims to increase operational efficiency and develop strategies that better engage potential, serving, departing staff - including offering innovative/responsive staff interaction, utilizing technology to strive towards ESG goals, and re-injecting efficiency gained for further satisfying service needs.
Methodology :
Wide adoption of myHR App by 99% HA staff, appointees, retirees. Processing of recruitment, allowance, leave, appraisal, training/development, staff enquiries which are operational/repetitive but involve significant workload/demanding attention were transformed digitally through myHR App, centrally coordinated by HR Service Centre, rendering support to staff/management.

Early success of myHR App generated stakeholders’ support, catalyzing development of mobile applications/add-ons, such as Nursing App, expanding the user base through enhanced user experience tailored for individual needs. Expanded usage/coverage facilitate IT systems’ gradual integration into all-in-one mobile hub with full staff coverage. The transformation achieves synergy by releasing front-line/management’s time to better provide service with personal touch.
Result & Outcome :
In 2024, e-courses available surged by 120%, training content access increased by 180%. Learning efficiency gained as staff acquired skills just-in-time, just-in-place. Together with mobile-enabled e-application/e-approval, staff learning culture was fostered. Meanwhile, myHR App encouraged staff feedback via Chatbot. Focused staff survey response rates skyrocketed from 33% to 85%.

97% allowance transactions processed through e-allowance, drastically trimmed processing and payment lead-time from months to days/hours. Ride on the Outbreak of COVID-19, myHR App adoption accelerated, with 61,000 vaccination bookings/17,000,000 self-reporting RAT/automated sick leave chatrooms for manpower re-arrangement. This led to launch of eSick-Leave, which processed 335,000 leave applications since April 2023.

Recruitment efficiency enhanced, with 55% e-Appointment Letters signed within 24-hour, by newly-graduated doctors/nurses. MyHR App Lite was deployed to support pre-employment/post-retirement activities.

On way Forward, myHR App leap transformed HA towards smarter, interconnected workforce, scalable with cutting-edge technologies. Coming includes AI-driven recruitment selection, myChannel—new interface designed to bolster employee engagement and sense-of-belonging.

The future continues focus on sustainability/staff engagement, enable every facet of HA life to seamlessly converge at our fingertips, using AI Chatbots/AI-powered recruitment to personalize employee experience, achieving real-time collaboration for team productivity.
