Introduction :
The "HA Go My Measurement" module has been available since 2021, allowing patients to contribute self-measured health data and facilitating the digitization of patient-reported information. Integration with the CMS in 2022 allowed seamless clinical access to the data. Expanding on this foundation, the Menstrual Chart was introduced in HA Go in August 2024 as a new measurement item, enabling women to log menstrual data. This innovation enhances gynecological care by allowing clinicians to monitor self-reported parameters electronically and incorporate them into clinical documentation.
Objectives :
1. To digitalize paper menstrual records used by HA Go users, particularly gynaecology patients
2. To support gynaecologists in tracking menstrual patterns and identifying abnormalities
3. To streamline the consultation process with accessible self-input menstrual data in “CMS” and “HA Go”
Methodology :
The Menstrual Chart, initiated by COC(O&G) and routed through internal governance, was developed jointly with in-house IT and a vendor over six months. It targets gynaecology patients and women wishing to maintain structured menstrual records, offering two key features:

1. Tracking of Menstruation Patterns and Symptoms
• Users can record menstruation and specific conditions, e.g., spotting, sanitary products flow volume & usage, blood clots, flooding, pelvic pain, and medication.
2. Enabling an Integrated Overview on Menstrual Records
• Menstruation statistics, menstrual flow, and conditions are visualized in HA Go and CMS, providing summary views for quick reference. Data can also be copied to CMS for clinical documentation.
Result & Outcome :
The Menstrual Chart was promoted through the “HA Smart Hospital” YouTube Channel, the “HA Go” website, and HA O&G Clinics. The promotional video reached over 100,000 patient attendances across 16 O&G clinics. Since the rollout in August 2024 and up to December 2024, over 5,300 users have logged a total of more than 48,000 records. Utilization is expected to grow further with CMS integration planned for 2025. With this seamless sharing of self-reported menstrual records from HA Go into CMS, it is anticipated that the care delivery process will be gracefully reshaped with patient engagement and empowerment, resulting in a streamlined and digitally-enabled care.
