Introduction :
In 2022, there was a significant increase in the incidence of pressure injuries in Surgery department. Pressure injuries remain a critical key performance indicator for nursing practice, emphasizing the importance of effective prevention strategies. Given the adage that prevention is preferable to treatment, immediate intervention measures were implemented to address this emerging issue. This abstract outlines the necessity of proactive approaches in mitigating the risk of pressure injuries in surgical settings.
Objectives :
1. Increase staff awareness
2. Decrease numbers of pressure injury development
3. Maintain continuity of nursing care
Methodology :
1. Train-the-trainers
