Methodology :
A multidisciplinary workgroup of promoting Innovation & Smart Hospital was established, comprising members from various departments, including Administrative Services, Nursing Services, Clinical Departments and allied health services. Serial game booths were designed at lunch time to enhance staff understanding of Smart products and their applications to patient services. Multimedia, real-time interaction, and experiential learning were applied to enhance educational outcomes, disseminate information, and raise awareness of smart hospital among staff.
Result & Outcome :
Two Smart Hospital Promotion Day were held on 8 Oct and 28 Oct 2024, during lunch time. A speaker from The Chinese University of Hong Kong was invited to share insights on “Exploring AI Chatbots in Teaching and Learning”. Various game booths featuring Artificial intelligence (AI) and Virtual reality (VR) applications allowed staff to experience the technologies used in patient care. Souvenirs were distributed as incentives to encourage active participation. The events attracted 132 and 207 participants, respectively, with overwhelmingly positive feedback collected from attendees.
