Introduction :
In alignment with the commitment to advancing nursing practices in Caritas Medical Centre (CMC), the nursing team has recognized the critical need for high-quality tracheostomy care for patients who are highly dependent on medical support. Despite the frequent encounters with these patients, many nurses face challenges due to limited practical experience and a lack of familiarity with the essential knowledge and skills required for effective tracheostomy management. To address this gap, a readily accessible electronic learning resource has been developed. This program aims to streamline the learning process by providing frontline nurses with a user-friendly poster featuring QR codes, ensuring immediate access to vital information and guidance on tracheostomy daily care.
Objectives :
-To facilitate the accessibility of a knowledge gateway regardless of place and time.

-To provide a clear and intelligible step-by-step guidance of tracheostomy daily care to frontline nurses.

-To consolidate the knowledge of tracheostomy daily care of frontline staff.
Methodology :
The preparations and steps of three common tracheostomy daily care procedures were filmed as short video clips. Nursing interventions involved in other areas of tracheostomy care were categorized into four aspects and the corresponding key points were presented in electronic format. Together with the video clips, seven QR codes were generated, acting as the gateways for accessing the knowledge and skills of various tracheostomy cares. A poster composed of these QR codes was then designed and posted in the wards to ensure the QR codes were easy to attain. Before the poster was launched, an educational talk regarding tracheostomy daily care had been delivered to nurses in order to promulgate the use of the poster. A self-efficacy scale rated by nurses was established to evaluate the effectiveness of the poster as a guiding tool during the delivery of tracheostomy daily care.
